SWISS - Bombardier CSeries 100 (St. Moritz 2017)
During the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships 2017 in St. Moritz the Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) was flying an air display with a new Bombardier CSeries 100 Airplane together with the "Patrouille Suisse". I made a one day trip to St. Moritz to take pictures of the training of this air display and went up to a mountain. Due to fog in the valley the Bombardier CS100 arrived later than expected without the “Patrouille Suisse”. I thought the flights of the F-5 Tigers where canceled because of the delay and bad weather. After the training flight of the CS 100 I went back down to the valley. While I was in the cable car the Bombadier appeared again along the “Patrouille Suisse”. What a pity, I couldn’t take pictures out of the cable car. At least I had some nice shots of the CSeries 100 on my memory card.
Anlässlich der FIS Ski-Weltmeisterschaft in St. Moritz flog die SWISS mit einer brandneuen Bombardier CSeries 100 ein Display zusammen mit der “Patrouille Suisse”. Ein solches Display war schon beim Abfahrtsrennen am Lauberhorn geplant, dieses wurde jedoch wegen schlechten Wetters abgesagt. Da ich diese besondere Formation unbedingt fotografieren wollte entschloss ich mich, bei schönstem Wetter für den ersten Trainingsflug ins Engadin zu fahren. In St. Moritz angekommen begab ich mich auf die Corviglia. Leider war im Tal unten Nebel und die Ankunft der Flugzeuge verzögerte sich. Die CS 100 tauchte dann doch noch auf, aber ohne «Patrouille Suisse». Ich ging davon aus, dass der Flug der «Patrouille Suisse» wegen der Verzögerung gecancelt wurde – leider täuschte ich mich. Als ich mich wieder in der Bahn zurück ins Tal befand tauchte plötzlich die Bombardier noch einmal auf mit der «Patrouille Suisse» im Schlepptau. Leider konnte ich keine Bilder mehr machen was mich natürlich sehr geärgert hat. Aber wenigstens hatte ich ein paar Bilder von der CS 100 in schöner Winterlandschaft auf meiner Speicherkarte und ich hoffe, dass sich dann im nächsten Jahr am Lauberhorn wieder eine Gelegenheit bietet, eine SWISS Maschine zusammen mit der «Patrouille Suisse» zu fotografieren…
