"Air Force One" in Zurich during WEF 2020

He did it again! As in 2018, US President Donald Trump took part in the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. A highlight for aviation fans, as the US President usually travels in a jumbo jet, a Boeing VC-25A. This aircraft is best known as “Air Force One”. However, the plane is only called “Air Force One” when the president is on board. Unique about this visit was that a second Boeing VC-25A, which normally flies as a “backup” on trips and lands at another airport, also came to Zurich. So I had the unique opportunity to capture both presidential planes in one photo.

He did it again! Wie schon im Jahr 2018 nahm US Präsident Donald Trump am Weltwirtschaftsforum WEF in Davos teil. Für Aviatikfans ein Highlight, denn der US Präsident reist normalerweise in einem Jumbo-Jet, ganzer einer Boeing VC-25A an. Dieses Flugzeug ist vor allem bekannt als „Air Force One“. Die Bezeichnung „Air Force One“ trägt die Maschine allerdings nur, wenn der Präsident an Bord ist. Einzigartig war bei diesem Besuch: eine zweite Boeing VC-25A, welche normalerweise als „Backup“ auf den Reisen mitfliegt und auf einem anderen Flughafen landet, kam auch nach Zürich. So hatte ich die wohl einmalige Gelegenheit, beide Präsidentenmaschinen auf einem Bild festzuhalten.
