Wiederholungskurs WK in Meiringen 2019

The annual training course (WK) of the Airfield Command (Flpl Kdo) 13 stationed there took place from August 26th to September 20th, 2019. All members of Flpl Kdo 13 were deployed for this purpose and provided personnel for all the necessary areas of the airfield for several weeks: from maintenance staff to the fire department and the guard. A special feature during this WK: “Taxiway Golf” was in use – a taxi route that leads from the caverns along farmhouses and stables directly to the piste. This made it possible to take photos from unusual perspectives.

Vom 26.08 – 20.09.2019 fand der alljährliche Wiederholungskurs (WK) des dort stationierten Flugplatz Kommando (Flpl Kdo) 13 statt. Alle Angehörigen des Flpl Kdo 13 rückten hierfür ein und stellten während mehrerer Wochen Personal für alle notwendigen Bereiche des Flugplatzes: vom Wartungspersonal über die Feuerwehr bis hin zur Wache. Eine Besonderheit während dieses WK’s: der «Taxiway Golf» war in Gebrauch – eine Rollstrecke, die von der Kaserne an Bauernhäusern und Ställen vorbei direkt zur Piste führt. Dies ermöglichte, mal wieder ein paar Aufnahmen in ungewohnten Perspektiven zu machen.
